!The Last Post!

Well today it has come to end for our class sadly but I have to say we like the travels that we had and we had a fun time as well.
Though it we learnt what we should not do:
• Wash your car
• Drop your rubbish
• And more

What we should look for:
• Clarity
• Habitat
• Algae
• Bugs in the water

Well I would just like to say we have learnt a lot on the travel though trying to make the river a better place. I think that we have made an effort and we have made the community aware of what is going on down in there river and I just like to thank every one who gave us help with this and made it possible.
So to sum it all up I would like to thank each and every one for you.

Today we made a video on what we found during our time at river but the weather was not our side today but we manage to get it finish in time for us to show it at our school assemble but all together it was very cool us all hand parts to play.

As we where making the movie we all had our spills but in the end we all had lots of fun.

We can now update you on what we found in the part of the Hautapu River behind our school and our founding where not very go. For what we test most of them where poor .we tested for

2. habitat
3. algae

!!first meeting!!

Today we had our frist meeting for the river clean up.
We where talking about what we need to do and who we need to talk to about the on going problem with the river.
We are goingn to try and put samething inn the news paper about it to tell the people how bad it is.

We have just finshed looking at the river and to my discussed the river was in a very bad state and we are going to try asnd change it.

my personal goal is to make a start on the river and see if we can make the the river a better place.

!!TODAY!!

Today we are going down to the river to look at the water and see what the water looks like.

We are going to ask around and see who put there rubbish in the river and then we and take it to the council and try and stop it.

!! Issue Has Been Decided !!

The issue was finally decided!

We had finally chose the Hautapu river after the debate we had.

The debate we had was about the river and the Recycling.

We where fighting about the it for about half an hour and then we finally came to chose the
Hautapu river.

Out of all of then we thought that it would be better to do that because we would be doing more of the fight for it insted of council doing all of the work so that is why we all chose the river.

• Plastic-bag free town
• Recycling collected

• Hautapu stream clean up
• More youth sport
• Better water

Q.The thing i like most about Taihape?

A.The thing i like the most is that everybody know each other.

Q.The thing i like the least about Taihape?

A.The thing i like the least is that the water.

Q.If i was mayor of taihape i would?

A.I would make that there where no plastic-bag in the shop.

Q.If i had $10,000 to spend to spend on taihape what would i spend it on?

A.I would clean up the rivers.
